“Natur@lly Connected”: art between technology and humanity
In an era of widespread digital connectivity, Natur@lmente Connessi (natur@lly Connected) by the original and creative artist Alessandro Grazi stands as a powerful visual reflection of the duality between technology and humanity. The Sienese artist, known for his expressive research that blends irony and social critique, presents a vibrant and complex image where digital elements and human emotions intertwine in a deeply meaningful visual narrative.
Art at COMMpla: A reflection of our values
At COMMpla, we embed in our everyday activities the strong belief in the intersection of art, technology, and creativity. Art is not just a decorative element in our workspace, it is a source of inspiration, a constant reminder that technology is a tool, but it is human creativity that gives it meaning. Our passion for art dates back more than 15 years, when we would open our offices to the public with our “Open Houses” with evenings with local and national Italian artists and we integrate it not only into our daily work but also within our office workspace environment.
The installation of Natur@lmente Connessi by Alessandro Grazi is part of this philosophy, enhancing our space. These artworks are visual statements and reflections of who we are and what we stand for. They remind us that technology, no matter how advanced, always requires a human touch to truly resonate and create impact.
A network of visual connections
As Alessandro Grazi explains: “Natur@lmente Connessi reflects the explosion of digital technology in a world obsessed with connectivity, often at the expense of human and emotional dimensions. The delicate lines that run through the painting represent the relentless flow of data, but also the ties we must never forget”.
Natur@lmente Connessi by Alessandro Grazi is distinguished by its vivid colours and layered composition. At the centre, a golden figure emerges among green elements, wrapped in a dense network of lines, circles, and symbols reminiscent of circuits and digital connections. On opposite sides of the artwork, two stylised faces symbolise humanity and its eternal struggle to maintain an authentic bond, even in a world increasingly mediated by technology.
The artwork thus becomes a metaphor for our hyperconnected society: on one hand, an immense web of information enveloping every aspect of our existence, on the other, the risk of losing sight of the true essence of human relationships.
Art as a bridge between technology and communication
Grazi emphasises the importance of emotional bonding between human beings, a concept that is becoming increasingly crucial in an age where communication is rapid but often lacks depth. The two faces at the edges of the painting embody this contradiction: “So far apart, yet never so close”, as Alessandro stated.
It serves as a warning not to let technology replace true emotional connection, but rather to use it to strengthen it.
